2026 Leadership Award Honorees

Anisa L. Green
Honored Posthumously
Director, Federal Regulatory; Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer, AT&T

Anisa L. Green devoted her career to telecommunications policy and expanding opportunity through mentorship and community service.

With more than 27 years of experience in regulatory policy, advocacy, and legal affairs, Green served as Director of Federal Regulatory at AT&T and Chief of Staff to its Senior Vice President of Federal Regulatory Relations and Chief Regulatory Officer. Her work included universal service, affordability, digital equity, and wireless policy.

Green mentored through Crittenton and Junior Achievement, served on the Genesys Works National Capital Region Board of Advisors, and supported emerging leaders through the Women’s Wireless Leadership Forum and its Telecom Trailblazers Committee. Colleagues remembered her warmth, generosity, and willingness to share advice and encouragement.

Year after year, Anisa championed support for Crittenton, inspired students during our Women’s History Month panels, mentored Crittenton girls at our annual High Tea, and celebrated Crittenton’s milestones with us at every anniversary celebration. Anisa recognized that investing in girls means investing in stronger families, healthier communities, and a more hopeful future. Because of her advocacy, young women had access to safe spaces where they could build confidence, discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, and know they were seen, valued, and capable of achieving their dreams

A Brooklyn native with West Indies roots, Green earned her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Communication from George Washington University and was a certified paralegal. She also founded a personal styling and event planning business.

At its 138th Celebration, Crittenton honors Anisa L. Green posthumously, celebrating her service and lasting commitment to helping others thrive.
