Between the pandemic and the renewed fight for racial justice, the unique disparities that girls of color face at the intersection of their gender and race have only grown more heightened. Anxiety, stress and depression are at an unprecedented high, for our girls, for their families, and for our communities.
Crittenton staff have been working hard to maintain connections with all of the program participants during the pandemic. Although the organization’s programs are school-based, Crittenton has pivoted to an online model with virtual versions of all 24 student groups.
